Working at Dancing Pines in Truckee, California, is always a joy, but this particular wedding was truly special. Dancing Pines offers some of the most serene beauty in all of Truckee, with its towering trees and tranquil ambiance providing the perfect backdrop for a romantic celebration. The natural splendor of the venue inspired my floral arrangements, creating a seamless blend between the lush landscape and the vibrant blossoms. It's an absolute delight to enhance such an already stunning location with the artistry of floral design.

As always, collaborating with the couple was an pleasure. Jordan actually switched up her visiion a few times over the course of the year, ha! However, I will say that her final pick - a wedding adorned in green and white to complement the natural surroundings - was the perfect fit. The wedding party looked absolutely gorgeous, with the bridesmaids in elegant olive green and the groomsmen in classic suits, all holding bouquets and boutonnieres that echoed the verdant beauty around them. The harmony between their attire and the floral arrangements created a picture-perfect scene.

The ceremony was nothing short of magical. My team and I lined the entire aisle with a rich assortment of flowers, creating a floral meadow that led to the altar. The bride’s entrance was breathtaking, walking through a corridor of blooms that seemed to celebrate her every step. The floral aisle not only enhanced the beauty of the ceremony but also enveloped the guests in an immersive experience of flowers and scent, making the moment truly unforgettable.

At the reception, the green and white centerpieces perfectly complemented the neutral tones of the wedding decor. Each table featured lush arrangements of white roses, alliums, larkspur and mums (to name a few), which added a touch of elegance to the rustic charm of the venue. These centerpieces were designed to reflect the simplicity and sophistication of the couple's vision, enhancing the overall aesthetic without overpowering it. The result was a harmonious blend of nature and refinement that was appreciated by all in attendance.

The wedding was not only beautiful but also incredibly fun. The night was filled with dancing, laughter, and joy as guests celebrated the newlyweds. The energy on the dance floor was contagious, with everyone joining in to share the happiness of the occasion. The combination of exquisite florals, a stunning venue, and a lively atmosphere made this wedding one to remember. It was an honor to contribute to such a joyous celebration, and I left Dancing Pines with a heart full of happiness.
