Martis Camp Resort holds a special place in my heart. Almost 13 years ago, I moved to Truckee to support my husband who has been working at Martis Camp Realty since it started over 16 years ago. His clients are drawn by the serene beauty and tight-knit community in this stunning gated enclave. As a loyal member of Martis Camp, I've built countless memories here and felt honored to decorate such a spectacular location as well as a place I visit daily. When I was approached to design the florals for a wedding at the resort, I kept my deep connection to the community under wraps until after the couple had hired me.

Working with Sarah, the bride, was a dream come true. From the moment we met, she entrusted me with her floral vision, a responsibility I didn't take lightly. Sarah desired a touch of Asian flair to honor her mother-in-law’s heritage, and she gave me the creative freedom to bring this vision to life. Her trust and openness allowed me to craft arrangements that were not only beautiful but also deeply personal and meaningful.

The ceremony was nothing short of breathtaking. Set against the natural splendor of Martis Camp, the bridesmaids' ice blue dresses perfectly complemented the crisp, mountain air. The large floral arrangements, overflowing with bare branches and orchids, created a stunning backdrop for the vow exchange. The combination of delicate blooms and rustic elements reflected both the elegance and rugged beauty of the location.

For the reception, the blush and white centerpieces seamlessly integrated with the tranquil ambiance of Martis Camp. These arrangements were designed to enhance the venue's serene beauty without overwhelming it. Each centerpiece was a harmonious blend of soft hues and textures, echoing the gentle charm of the surrounding landscape. It was a joy to see how the florals added to the magical atmosphere of the evening.

With Martis Camp’s beauty, the neutral flowers kept the affair

The head table had it’s own decor with large, modern arrangements with roses and bare branches and a runner of roses in white bud vases.

The wedding was an unforgettable celebration filled with personal touches and lively moments. From heartfelt speeches to a wild and exuberant dance floor, it was a night to remember. The couple's personality shone through in every detail, making the event not just a wedding, but a jubilant and intimate affair. Being a part of this joyous occasion at Martis Camp, surrounded by familiar faces and stunning scenery, was an honor I will cherish forever.

Thank you, Sarah and Keith for allowing me to be a small part of your beautiful day!
